The goal of the Galmudug association is to strengthen a multicultural society where immigrants from different language and cultural groups work together. The association is open to both Finns and immigrants.
The association was founded in 2016 by a group of activists who wanted to help and support immigrant families and allow people of different origins to gather together.
They considered adaptation to a new, multicultural society as important to Finns as the integration of immigrants into Finland. This goal is still relevant.
The association promotes immigrants’ access to the labor market and offers free and open leisure activities for people of all ages.
